Jamie Lynn Spears
Jamie Lynn Marie Spears was born on April 4th, 1991 in McComb, Mississippi. She grew up in Kentwood, Louisiana with her parents Jamie and Lynne, who are now divorced, her sister, pop singer Britney Spears and her brother Bryan Spears. When she was still quite young she moved from Louisiana to New York City with her mother and sister while her sister pursued her singing career. The family subsequently moved back to Kentwood and Jamie attends Parklane Academy when she is not filming or singing. She started her career in acting and singing at the early age of ten when she appeared in her sisters Totally Britney Live concert and in the movie Crossroads as the younger version of the main character played by her sister. She also appeared as a member of the cast of All That and enjoyed participating in Dare Skits which were similar to the stunts in Fear Factor. She left the show in 2004 after being signed in her own show on Nickelodeon Network called Zoey 101. She is the lead character of this show and sings the theme song as well called Follow Me, which was written by her sister. The premise of the show is that she is the first girl to enter a formerly all-boy boarding school and sets a standard for new girls entering the school. The show drew an unprecedented following with kids aged nine to fourteen and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series. Jamie won a Favorite TV Actress award from the Kid's Choice Awards for her work on the series. Jamie continues to act, attend school and sing and it is expected that she will continue her aspirations in the entertainment industry upon completion of her studies. Tidbits
